Wooden folding Military chair transformed for
Artists transformed chairs into works of art for auction to benefit the Greater Lafayette Museum of Art
This model of chair was originally manufactured by the American Seating Company of Grand Rapids Michigan from the early 1930s through early 1940s and was used by the US military during WWII. I decided to transform it into a peace themed chair using designs and colors inspired by posters and of the time period.

The chair as I purchased it before painting was scuffed up, but still easily foldable and sturdy.
